Religious Education at Oldswinford Primary School
As a Church of England school, the Christian faith is at the heart of everything we do, both together and as individuals. RE plays a crucial and active role in the education of every young person here and the teaching and importance of RE will assist our children to consider deep questions and by doing so, help them to engage in their own personal search for meaning. It helps us all to explore and make sense of our lives and the purpose we have in the world. At OCEPS, we promote an enquiry-based approach to teaching RE, ensuring that other world religions and views are recognised, taught and valued and we learn how we can live alongside people of all faiths and beliefs with respect and wherever possible, in harmony.
It is possible to withdraw your child from all or part of our RE curriculum but we would appreciate the opportunity to discuss this with you first.
