House Teams
There are four houses at Oldswinford named after our National Saints:
St. Andrew, St. David, St. George, and St. Patrick
In each class, children earn points on Class Dojo for good work and behaviour and for demonstarting our school values. Each term, the points are added up and children from the winning house are rewarded with extra playtime. The top scoring children from each house in each class are placed in a raffle and some lucky winners are picked to have a special tea party with Mrs. Game.
We also have an annual sports day where we compete in the colours of our house and earn points for our team.
Our house captains for 2022/2023 are:
St. David- Imogen Lewis and Edward Wyn-Griffiths
St. Patrick- Noe Claro-Browne and Freddie Griffiths
St. Andrew- Fraser Willetts and Suranne Miller
St. George- Albie Mottram and Phoebe Challoner
On the Saints Day (or nearest weekday), children can come to school wearing the colour of their house:
St. Andrew (blue)- November 30th
St. David (yellow)- March 1st
St. Patrick (green)- March 17th
St. George (red)- April 23rd
The house captains wil organise a special assembly.
