Design Technology at Oldswinford C of E Primary School
At Oldswinford C.E. Primary School we teach Design and Technology to equip our pupils with the understanding to enable them to become future citizens in an increasingly technological and complex world. We encourage our children to improve their investigating, designing, making and evaluating skills in response to real and relevant problems within a variety of contexts.
We aim for our children to develop problem solving skills through collaboration with others, as well as skills with a variety of tools and materials. Their curiosity, confidence, self-belief and resilience will grow through completing a variety of projects.
We aim for our children to have the necessary skills for their life beyond Oldswinford C. E. Primary School in order to read recipes and cook diverse and nutritious food with an awareness of seasonality, healthy choices, nutrition and health and safety.
