At Oldswinford, Collective Worship is an integral part of our school day. It allows us to learn and reflect.
Since March 2020, we have not been able to meet as a whole school and instead our worship has been delivered in class. This has been done via powerpoint and videos. We have a strong Worship Group made up of pupils in Year 5 who help us to decide upon our worship theme for the half term. They have also recorded a video for Easter and meet to help me plan what worship will include. Currently they are helping to develop an outdoor reflection space now we can mix again.
If you would like to see some of our worship please click on the documents below. We have grouped them into the themes we have explored.
In May 2022 we moved back to phase worship - where we meet in 2 smaller groups. This has been amazing and we look forward to moving back to whole school worship in Summer 2. Worship group help to lead worship by opening and closing our time together. They also support with sharing our key messages and this will be developed further now we can meet to worship face to face.
