School teams

Here at Oldswinford we have a good record in sports competition with other schools.

Girls’ football team

The Oldswinford girls football team has a long and successful history. They compete in a local summer league for the Sedgley Challenge trophy, which the school has won several times in the last ten years.

Boys’ football team

The boys team has also had considerable success in competitions for a number of years. They play against other local schoosl between September and April.

Cross Country team

Oldswinford has a strong tradition of cross country running and has always competed strongly in interschool competitions. Last year the school won both the girls’ and boys' competitions.

Although a relatively recent sport at our school, members of the netball club have represented the school well in tournaments and matches.

Our team of track and field athletes have always done well in the Dudley athletics championship. Last year we won three out of four categories in the championship.

Believe, achieve and shine brighter together.
