  Dear Parents/Carers,
  
  Just a final word to say what a pleasure it has been to lead the school during this interim period. Your children are amazing and make our school the special place that it is. Thank you for all your support throughout the year.
  
  The school has been flooded today with cards, flowers, presents and chocolates in honour of our hard-working staff. Thank you for showing your appreciation- it means so much.
  
  My thanks go to all the staff for all their hard work, resilience and dedication over this academic year. Teachers, TAs, cleaners, admin staff, lunchtime supervisors, DPA teachers, sports coaches and site staff all work tirelessly for the benefit of the school. This year or so has been quite the rollercoaster ride but is certainly ending on a high.
  
  Today we say goodbye to Mrs Melia, Mrs Wells, Mrs Dark and Mr Cleues and thank them for everything they have done in their time with us. Megan, our sports coach is also moving on and will be missed by so many of the children. We would also like to congratulate Miss Dupree on the early but safe arrival of her baby boy Zachary.
  
  Thanks also to all at St. Mary's Church. We are so grateful for the close relationship that benefits children, staff and families.
  
  The PTA sent out a parentmail yesterday detailing all the fantastic work they've done in raising funds for school and the impact its had. We are blessed to have such a proactive, successful PTA and thank you for your continued support.
  
  Not forgetting our governors who also volunteer their time and have a great responsibility and accountability for the school, being tasked with making some of the biggest decisions of all. Their commitment to the school is commendable.
  
  All that is left to say is farewell to our incredible Year 6 children. We are so proud of all you have achieved in your time with us and know we are sending you on your way, well-equipped for your next adventure.
