At Oldswinford we aim to pursue our studies to
the highest academic level through a combination of structured
and spontaneous experiences. This approach takes place within a
caring social situation, the tone of which is set by the
children and staff together.
We have a warm and friendly atmosphere, with all
children learning, and showing consideration for
others, especially those who are younger. We
find that new children settle in very quickly
and happily.
We interact with our environment and each other
on the basis of consideration and courtesy. The happy
atmosphere which we generate, is recognised and added to, by all
those joining us on a short or longer-term basis. We aim to
equipt our children with social life skills and develop their
potential for academic learning.
The education of children is a
partnership between parents, children and the
school, where great emphasis is placed upon
mutual respect, understanding, tolerance and
co-operation.
