This half term we will be reading the wonderful story ‘Wonder’.
In Wonder by R. J. Palacio, the children will learn the importance of kindness, empathy, and standing up for others. Through Auggie’s journey at school, they will see how courage, acceptance, and choosing compassion—“when given the choice between being right or being kind”—can make a powerful difference in people’s lives.
SCIENCE—PLANTS
We will be looking at lifecycles of plants and why plants are important. We will focus on germination, parts of the flower and how they reproduce. This will then lead onto human life cycles.

HISTORY
In history we will be learning about the life of the Vikings: raids, lifestyles, invaders and settlers.
PE
PE will continue to be Mondays and Thursdays. Monday will be hockey with Tom and Thursdays will be fitness.
RE
RE will answer the question
What difference does the resurrection
make for Christians?
ART
Art we will be continuing our focus on landscapes using watercolours and pastels. We will also look at famous artists: David Hockney and Vincent Van Gogh.
