Can you write some sentences with the words you make today?
The children will be writing sentnces with spaces, a full stop and a capital letter at the beginning. They will need help with what a capital letter looks like.

Use this writing frame to answer the question. Let the children be imaginative as they like but encourage them to use their phonics when writing.

After you have played bingo, could you ask your child to choose two tricky words and write a sentence for each.
Can you recognise these sounds? Can you write a sentence using one of the words you have come up with?
After you have finished, choose one of these words to put in a sentence.
Before you start, how many 'ure' words can you write down?
You can do one, some or all of these.
